1 tbsp of butter (You can use any butter you like)
1 tbsp of brown sugar (You can add a little bit more if you like really sweet)
¼ tsp of vanilla extract
2 tbsp of wholewheat flour (Since its really less, you can get away without sieving)
⅛ tsp baking soda
Pinch of salt (add only if you are using unsalted butter)

The recipe is effortless and can be ready in no-time. Preparation time is literally 5 mins and baking is 15 mins (It may vary depending on the oven settings).
How do we make a single serving wholewheat cookie?
- The first and the most important step which people generally tend to ignore is to preheat your oven at 160deg Celsius.
- In a small bowl or even a mug, put the butter, sugar and vanilla essence. Mix it properly. Tip: Try to use butter at room temperature. It helps to make the cookie soft.
- Add all the dry ingredients (wholewheat flour, baking soda, salt) to the mix. Now mix it well until everything is in the proper blend and no dry flour is left in the container.
- You may have to add a few drops of milk if the mix doesn’t bind.
- Now, your dough is ready.
- Flatten slightly with your fingers on butter paper.
- Put it in the oven and bake it for 12-15 mins for 160deg.
If you like your cookie soft and gooey, eat it warm from the oven. If you like your cookie with a little bit of crunch, let it cool completely.
